Occasionally, coins are found with some features being barely raised above the field of the coin. The most common examples are small portions of the legend text, but this could occur anywhere.

Another example of a weak strike is with Obverse Die Clash OC6 where the hair at the upper back of the Queen's head as well as the back of her neck just fades into the field instead of being well-defined.
