This multi-segment die crack has two primary segments running through the core. The first starts on the left side of the ring, into the bear and back out to the edge between the A and D of CANADA. The second starts at the centre of the coin and extends jaggedly toward the edge at the S of DOLLARS. Secondary cracks exist in the ring at the C and A of CANADA.

Reverse Die Crack H is found on coins dated 2004, 2005 and 2006.

This is a progressive die crack and is found in two varieties:

• H1: Crack at C of CANADA, faint crack in middle of core, does not extend to ring.
• H2: All cracks present as shown.
